I'm a hula girl!
It's official. The site, Scrapable is open and I'm part of it! So EXCITING! The theme is to cute. It's truly a Scraping paradise. I never thought I had the skill or the body to be a hula dancer...but that's what I am...I'm a hula girl! Be sure to check the site out! both the blinkies to the right should be clickable..one to the site and the other to my gallery.

another year older.
Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday dear amy! Happy Birthday to me!
Its been a great day. My lil' boy and I had a date. DJ had no school today so we went to the movies then to mickeyD's. We went to see Coraline. A pretty good movie..it was in real D..better then the old 3D movies we had when I was a kid. No presents and we didn't have time to make my cake..but all in all, it was a good day!
Ok enough about me and my birthday..another thing I'm getting pretty excited about is:
Scrapable is about to burst open! The site is just about ready to have its Grand reopening...I bet we'll be open by the end of the week. I'm expecting big things and loads of fun!
Its been a great day. My lil' boy and I had a date. DJ had no school today so we went to the movies then to mickeyD's. We went to see Coraline. it's Valentine's day!
It's Valentine's Day, Nothing special planned here..just spending time with my lil' family. Jary talked about a party on the ice..doesn't sound much fun to me..but you never know it might be fun. Who knows if we'll make it out there.

sorry...
I apologize for my earlier post..Very selfish of me. My mom deserves to go out and I love my lil man dearly..I'll be happy to spend Valentines day and my birthday with him.
just venting
nothing major to say but a bunch of rambling. So get ready, I feel a bunch of wind or should I say hot air ready to come.
hopefully I won't swear. here go's.
Poor me..I don't have a life. Valentines is here and then my birthday. Will I get to do anything? Noooooo.
I asked my mother a week ago to watch DJ on Valentines night. "We'll see" is the answer I got.
Ok, let me catch you up on the details. Mom missed the first 3 yrs. of DJ's life and before that 14 yrs of mine. We'll she has moved back to MI. She's very bored and lonely I understand. Very short on money too. She recently got her babysitting job back.....with my brothers ex-wife's family. I'm happy she can help them out..I've always like the ex and her new husband and new kids are very nice too. Here's where I get lil touchie.. Those kids call her grandma...don't really care I guess. But she always compares my kid with them..I don't like that...at all! Those kids are lil' angels who can do no wrong, oh and so smart...and my kid is a lil' brat, the devils spawn...(well he does have alittle of grandma in him..hehe)
Ok, well my mom went to one of the kids B-day party last week and was invited or invited herself to go with the ex's mother, to a single's dance. Now these two mother's can't be any more different. But whatever.
So the next day I asked mom if she had fun at the dance. "It was all right, alot of older people." Which I said, well mom your getting older too.-she made it sound lame and spoke no more of it..no details or anything. So when I called the next day about babysitting on Friday nite...I hear "oh...well I kind of wanted to go to the Valentine's Single Dance"..which I replied I thought you didn't have fun. "well I told the old guy I was 'cutting a rug' with I might come." Again, whatever..then later when we talked the idea of only going to the dance for a couple hours was brought up. "I said, don't worry about it. I don't want you to go to the dance and then a couple hours later have to leave when your having fun." "Well, we'll see", she said again. "I'll call you tomorrow". Tomorrow comes and guess what? She's babysitting the other kids that night! I said, "well your no help to me at all", with a little attitude. "I'm only watching them until 8 then I'm going to the dance". Great, still no help.
Ok so we'll go out on Friday/tonight for dinner instead...hey won't be as busy that way.
guess not!!!
She's going out with the same people tonight....after she babysits the other kids! what the $#%@ that B*%$#!!!!

"what are you doing? you got soap in my mouth and nose"
Oh my gosh~ my sweet lil' boy who is only 5 was swearing like a "drunken sailor" yesterday. I have no idea what come over him but he just kept it up. and...since he likes to be spanked (I know~weird) I resorted to soap in the mouth. Boy he was mad! I warned him to stop talking dirty and obviously he didn't. Mommy was mad and I ment business.
First time ever and hopefully last.
After the washing was done and tears were falling I really wanted to grab my camera so I could take a picture. I didn't though. Normally if DJ does something new or something he even thinks his cute or cool he'll ask me to take a picture to scrap. But not this time~ it wasn't the time for pictures.
Well that's enough for now...I've got work to do. I received my first assignments for Scrapable. I got two Cute kits, more about that later!

woohooo!
woohooo! I did it! One step down. I changed the background and added a header....I know I know, nothing big. but hey gotta start somewhere! But still having a lil' problem with the background. I've made it 1100x1450 is that right? who knows that's what I've read..anyway needs a lil tweaking, I'm sure I'll get it figured out..and when I do-I'll take more time creating something nice instead of the simple background I have now!

Blog Newbie!
For now I'll just write to myself...
I'm totally new at this bloggging thing. I have lots to figure out. I really don't understand why I can't figure the background and header out. I tried for hours yesterday, pretty much thought I'd scrap the blog idea...but thinking about it now. I can't quit! I must figure it out. Not sure why but I can't. So this morning I thought I'd start a post, add a blinkie or two. Go from there. so good luck amy!
I don't really have a need for a blog. I really don't have anything special to say or to say it too. Far as posting pictures or layouts I've posted layouts on my myfamily site for the family to view. Which worked out pretty good. The reason to start a blog is because I'm ready to embark a new adventure.
That's right a new adventure. I should be getting a job or do more housework but that's not the adventure. Some how I've been invited to be a CT member. That's right I'm a CTgirl~CT means creative team. I've been asked to join a digi scrapping site. I don't know how but I think its totally cool! If only I could make money! anyway....
Jeanye the owner of Scrapable-a digital scrapbook store, some how found me and asked me to be a part of the team. Now a lot of this digi girls know but family and friends may not. Being part of the CT, I will get free kits from the store and then I design LO's-layouts for the designer's to show off their kits. Pretty cool, free kits to do what I love to do. I'm not familiar with Scrapable yet but I'm sure they have awesome designers. I've chatted with a few of the CT girls, very nice. I'm sure I'll learn a lot while having lots of fun!
